My name is Rab Nawaz Hattar, the founder of Ahmed Welfare Foundation. I was born in a small village called Gaji Goth on 1977 and later went on to study Economics in shah Abdul Latif, Khairpur, where I Graduated from with a Masters Degree in 2001. Growing up I noticed my father liked to help others and try to make the village a better place even with his little income so it also inspired me to help those in my village when I had the chance. After my father Ahmed Hattar, unfortunately passed away in 2020, I wanted to fulfil his dream of building a Mosque and Madrassa to offer education to those in need. With the help of a few people and the overwhelming amount of donations, I am so grateful to be able to have started this journey and to help the less fortunate in my village while I can. Although I had this idea and aspiration since 2015, I finally got the courage to make a start 6 years later in 2021, after hosting a charity event in relation to this.
